This was another "found in a box in an old barn" prizes. I was astounded by the level of historical geekiness in this book (and even more delighted to read the numerous comments that bash the author's historical prowess). It's truly a novel for those that want to travel vicariously and learn in-depth information about those places. This book goes in to a little bit TOO much detail, in fact, and could have used some good editing in several parts of the story. But I was thoroughly entertained. I mean, who doesn't like an historically-accurate book about Dracula?
