Musings of a Book Addict

I'm married to a scavenger of sorts and he often totes home rescued boxes of books that I paw through with shiny, hungry eyes. I pull out the odd and interesting and add them to my teetering stack.

The Sparrow

The Sparrow - Mary Doria Russell This is one of those books that I HATED reading, yet, read the whole thing quickly because I HAD to know how it turned out. It's an incredible and disturbing story. I have since seen several people in coffee shops reading this book and had to go over and talk about it with them, because the story left me questioning so much. And as soon as I finished the book, I immediately gave it away because I never, ever want to read this story again.
